My MPhil research addresses the effectiveness of non coherent (differential detection) in fast fading channel conditions. The proposed transceiver design exploits the time and frequency diversity of the channel arising from large multipath delays and Doppler shifts.

OFDM time frequency direction is used to spread and differentially transmit date to achieve target Eb N0and performance improvement with FEC-LDPC.The design is effective in low SNR regimes and has low probability of intercept. Therefore design is ideal for stealth and surveillance. Advisor: Dr. MuhammadZia.
